About

We build the systems small businesses can't buy off a shelf

Karteric™ is an automation practice for the operators doing the work themselves — the shops, contractors, stores and service companies who never had a software budget or an operations department, and have been holding it together by hand anyway.

Why we exist

Larger competitors buy their advantages. They buy the software that answers every inquiry in seconds, the staff who follow up for weeks, the systems that never forget a maintenance interval or a lapsed customer. None of it is genius — it's infrastructure, and it's purchased.

Smaller operations do the same work by hand. The owner answers the phone between jobs, writes the follow-up after dinner, and remembers the reorder because they happened to walk past the shelf. It works, right up until it's the thing capping the business — and it costs evenings that nobody counts on a P&L.

Karteric closes that gap. We build the same class of infrastructure for a business that can't hire a department to run it: proven automations where they apply, custom builds where they don't, deployed quickly and maintained afterward. We're not interested in selling a platform you'll have to reshape your operation around.

So we start by listening. Before we quote anything, we want to understand how work reaches you, where it stalls, and which part of the week you'd hand over first. Some of what frustrates you shouldn't be automated at all, and we'll say so — an honest no is worth more than a bloated retainer.

No hype, no dashboards nobody opens, no pretending software replaces judgment. Just systems that keep working while you do the work you're actually good at.

What we hold to

Four principles that decide what we build and what we decline.

Intelligent by design

We map how your business actually runs before we build anything. The system fits the operation — never the other way around.

Outcomes over outputs

Nobody needs more workflows. They need booked jobs, recovered hours and fewer things falling through. That's what we measure.

Human at the center

Automation takes the repetition. Your people keep the judgment, the craft and the relationship — the reasons customers chose you.

Future-proof

Built to survive a software change, a second location or a doubled volume, and maintained for the long run rather than handed over and forgotten.

How we're different

  • Custom-first, always

Boxed products assume your business looks like the average of everyone else's. It doesn't. We use proven components where they genuinely fit and build custom everywhere your process is your own — which, in our experience, is most of it.

  • We listen before we build

Every engagement starts with a discovery conversation, not a proposal. We want the unglamorous detail — who answers the phone, what's in the spreadsheet, which step everyone quietly works around — because that's where the real problem lives.

  • Businesses across the United States

We work nationally, remotely, with a limited number of clients at a time. Your location has no effect on what we can deploy or how fast we respond — and a small roster means your build gets real attention rather than a queue position.

Tell us what you're trying to solve

Bring the part of the week you'd hand over first. We'll listen, tell you honestly what a system can and can't fix, and go from there.
